For the last couple years I've been using Houdini in my work. I'm interested in the way procedural tools can be used to solve modeling tasks that are otherwise tedious and destructive. These are some examples of the tools I've made to address modeling problems I come across in production. They're authored in Houdini 19.5 but are designed to be used by artists in Maya with the Houdini plugin.
Note: It's a limitation of the Houdini plugin that settings that change the output's vert order scramble the material assignments. It's easily fixed with a quick HDA refresh, but that's why the models sometimes have green faces or messed up materials.
